HMS Plymouth
According to a report from the HMS Plymouth Trust the old warship HMS Plymouth has been sold by Peel Ports at Birkenhead for scrap and her removal will happen in the next few days, even though the Trust suggests that Peel Ports may not legally own her. It is reported that the HMS Plymouth trust have applied to the courts for a warrant of arrest until ownership can be proven. The Trust hopes that supporters will be able to help in their fight to save HMS Plymouth from being broken up, as they feel she played a big part in the Falklands conflict, and an even bigger part in the end of it, as the Argentine surrender was accepted on board her.
